We are faced with it over and over. Investors who have been really wronged finally build up the courage to ask us about their losses. "Could it be," they ask gently, "that maybe the broker could have done more to protect my retirement, or my savings?" None of our clients rushed out looking to sue a broker. No one wants to lose large amounts of savings or investments, much less talk about it. But this reluntance to talk about it, combined with the brokerage firms pushing the line of "the market goes up and down"---which is NO defense in the right case--leaves too many people unable to take the next step. We are always saddened and concerned when a broker has recklessly lost a person's retirement or savings gets off the hook because a customer is too ashamed to take action. We urge you to get past this, and get the information to which you are entitled.
