Morgan Stanley Broker Misconduct
Morgan Stanley was founded in 1935, and is one of the 30 biggest corporations in the U.S. Its annual revenues exceed $50 billion and it has more than 50,000 employees. At the end of 2006 it announced recorded bonuses, including paying its CEO, John Mack, more than $40 million in options and stock.
Unfortunately, many Morgan Stanley investors have not done nearly as well. It has repeatedly failed to supervise its brokers, has invested client funds inappropriately and has been more focused on earning commissions for its brokers than making its clients their top priority.
