Jefferies is a New York-based investment bank and brokerage. It’s one of the fifteen largest brokerage firms in Los Angeles, with almost 90 brokers and 40 investment bankers.
Jefferies was involved in the gift giving scandal that rocked Wall Street. It paid a $10 million settlement in connection with a scheme that rewarded its brokers with lavish gifts for pushing its own securities.
