This afternoon, I received another call from a senior who had lost all of their retirement. Now, the senior was losing her home. She was fortunate enough to have a daughter who had an extra room, and would take the senior in. But the sadness, hopelessness and shame of the senior was tremendous. What caused this harm? The result, again, of variable annuities in IRA accounts, sold by brokers seeking high commissions.
